The Farm Crap App Pro will be launched at the industry's Grassland and Muck event scheduled to take place at Stoneleigh in May of this year.
Over the last 12 months, the app team have been busy working to refine the app and include some of the features suggested by farmers.
The new version is still free to download, and available on Apple and Android devices, and allows farmers to seamlessly complete whole field nutrient management plans from the tractor cab. farm office or standing in the field.
The new version includes the ability to map your farm within the app, take into account crop requirements and includes different methods of spreading manures and slurries as well as the ability to include bagged fertiliser application.
Through providing this information farmers are able to make the best use fo the nutrients found in their manures and slurries and top up with fertiliser to ensure quality crops, water protection and sustainble production systems.
Next week the team are hosting two events for farmers to come along and try it out and tell us what you think. This was a crucial step in the development of the original app and led to its final success out in industry. At 2 evening events, which are free to attend there will be a demonstration of the new app highlighting its features, and then a chance to play with it and see what works and what doesn't.
